I'm an Enron-ex, and the shredders weren't quite this big! But there were at least two shredders on each of the 50 floors in the building. So a minimum of 100 shredders, plus some people did have their own "personal shredders". Bastards!

They probably bought one that big so that when things went wrong, they could also throw Ken Lay into it. Problem is, the shredder spit him back out.

Sounds like there was a whole lot of shredding going on!

Seriously though, do you see the size of those 'books' she's dropping in there? That sure would make things go quick in emergency situations.

Me too, and I saw plenty of shredders around. Don't forget all the shredders in 3AC and the Pennzoil Building too. They had more ways to cover their tracks than they did liquid assets.

Yep -- I was in 3AC for about 10 years, and Enron occupied at least 15 to 20 of the floors in that building as well! The thing that pisses me off the most is that Skilling and Lay are still walking around as free men!

I just left Enron a few months ago and the funniest thing I can remember is right after the bankruptcy, when the CNN trucks were camped out on Andrews street and reporters were trying to interview anybody who would talk to them. If they had just looked around the corner to the loading dock they would have seen 2 shred-co 18 wheelers sitting there destroying as fast as they could load.

Good times...good times.
