How can a engine get locked up?
How can a engine get locked up? I got my headers installed on friday night the car ran great until saturday nigth it would nit start it just did a click noise.My first guess was the starter so we hit it see if turn over nothing happen change the wire going to the battery nothing i don't know what could it be tomarrow sunday Im check the battery which it said check gauges om the dash and it look low but I had it for 5 months and its a optima red top so I think it should be good.Then a friend told me the engine could be locked up because it was throwing the check engine light due to the O2 sensors.I just want to know if any body thinks the engine could be locked up or is something else. 
If the starter was clicking it was because your battery is dead. Yes dead even if you have a red top.
If you engine was locked(witch it is not) You would have to have water in it or have a thrown rod. And even then the starter is so TQ'y that it sometimes can still turn of the motor.

try to jump start it then see what happens. Did you check you oil dipstick? Change the oil loock for crap in it. and so on. Then check sparkplugs. oh also check your engine fuses and so on. good luck. There's a lot of things that can keep it from starting.
You can have a leaking head gasket that will fill the cylinder up and then the motor willnot turn over. Just had this happen on a friends car (Carbon). Just another possiblility, but be careful it can and will break the starter and block off if this is the case.
