Offroad in Texas

Offroad in Texas Just thought I would let you guys know about a offroad place in Gilmer, Tx. I went with a buddy of mine there and man it was awesome. 1800 acres of trails that you could put your truck, dirtbike or fourwheeler on. Its all legit no cops. They are sponsored by alot of offroad clubs and it was only like 20 bucks. Just a little FYI.

Its pretty cool place there is also campgrounds if you want to stay the night. Its a very good place for offroading in jeeps. I went with 2 of my buddies which both had jeeps. I just put up some pics of the offroad place so you get a better idea what it looks like. The pics might not be ther yet i just posted them up on the website if not there try back later.

I used to go out there in my 98 TJ all of the time. I was in Jeeps of North Texas, but I don't even know if they are a club anymore. Politics got the best of the club. 
Anyhow, I broke my rear Dana 35 axle on Dewoody at 1am. I was going up the left line and rocked it once - POP! There went an axle shaft. Luckily I had a spare and all of the tools to replace the shaft at the time.
Gilmer is a lot of fun. My fav. trails are Venom Loop and Jack's Crack.
Old camp is fun at night time.
