question about casting numbers

question about casting numbers i have the following casting number 3970010 for a SBC i have. originally i thought it was a 327 HD but on mortec's website it shows the same casting number for a 69 302 4 bolt main, 69-80 350 2 and 4 bolt main and a 69 327 2 bolt main industrial/truck engine. I have 4 bolt mains so how do i tell if i have a 302 or just a 350?

The 3970010 casting number was used on two- and four-bolt 350s made between 1969 and 1980.
3970010 - 302 cid - 1969 - 4 bolt - Camaro Z28
3970010 - 350 cid - 1969-80 - 2 or 4 bolt
3970010 - 350 cid - 1969-80 - 2 or 4 bolt

302 = 4.000" x 3.00" (Gen.I, 5.7" rod)
327 = 4.000" x 3.25" (Gen.I, 5.7" rod)
350 = 4.000" x 3.48" (Gen.I, 5.7" rod)
350 = 4.000" x 3.48" ('96-'01, Gen. I, Vortec, 5.7" rod)
350 = 3.900" x 3.66" ('89-'95, "LT5", in "ZR1" Corvette 32-valve DOHC, 5.74" rod)
Maybe this clears up some for you.
