Default Ford GT...

Did anyone happen to see the new MM&FF. They tested a Ford GT with a smaller pulley on stock Goodyears and then DR's. It went 11.07 @ 132 on stock tires then a 10.92 @ 128-9 on DR's!

Not too bad for a $20 pulley swap.

Where have you been you big dork??? Have you learned anything yet in school? You've been going long enough...

Anyhow, good to see you on the site.

As for the GT wait till Curtis gets his hands on one. It'd be like his Cobra. $ miles on the odo and already a full bolt-on car...

Those are some damn impressive times. Its too bad the car costs, what, $150K?

Chris, what are you hearing about the new Shelby's coming out next year? I'm definitely interested in the Shelby, but I think Ford is going to price it beyond reason. My car is sold. The guy that is buying it is picking it up on Monday, so I'm looking at other options.

J-rod, speaking of Curtis, is his black Cobra ever going to see the road again? Curtis is going to buy a new GT?

They say the new cobra will be under 40K..

But expect a mark up with shelbys name being on a cobra it will become an instant collecters car.

I don't know when it'll hit the road. I just expect if Curtis could work it, he'd swing one, and it'd have mods before it had miles.

That "pulley swap" consisted of a 4mm smaller pulley. I'm not sure what size the stock pulley is, but a 4mm drop doesn't sound like it adds much boost to me. My stock pulley was 3.65". I had to go to a 2.76" pulley to make 16lbs (8psi stock). That's damn near an inch.

Doesn't 1" = 25.4MM? If so, 4MM isn't shyt.
