I got numbers close to those you got from a diff shop with a smaller cam, 4.8 heads with a stage II port, jet hot longtubs, magnaflow muffler, ls6 intake, no pully. Through my PT 4000 stall. Oh and i forgot car was never dyno tuned just street tuned, it made these numbers on Houston performance dyno (440 WRHP and 398 RWTQ)

Ok nice numbers, My heads haven't been ported yet, they will once I decide on doing a motor.

Not sure what point your trying to make?

Brandon you may want to mention these heads come CNC Ported from the factory. The numbers you got are awesome! Glad your happy with your car, but lets put a 3-spd back in it and make it a race car

I'm not sure if you seen these heads, but I wouldn't even call it much of a port job(only flow-305) , compared to what alot of people are doing with 5.3Heads, and LS6 heads, but they do have a lot of meat on them for future porting. a TH350 will have to wait til the house and second car come in the future.

boy how times have changed. Two years ago 305cfm was awesome, now 305cfm now a days is nothing.. Wait till the LS7 heads come out when 380cfm will just puny.. Makes me think its time for some new heads.. 331cfm @ .600 is not good enough anymore

houston performance dyno is very high ....just like mti ...sure i would love to post the numbers my car would make at houston performance but i would never let my car close to that place....H.P.E. has a lot of heads cam packages available ..i belive Brandon was just talking about his...congrats Brandon ...

does using a pipe with high flow cats hurt the Hp as opposed to using an off road?

whats the hp difference between the two?


also i have read about people by passing the egr set up on the off roads is that good fot the car?

Actually Houston Performances dyno, dyno's close to 20 HP lower than MTI's Dyno, and ya'll have the same dyno HP has, and i know there dyno, dyno's about the same as your dyno cause i have seen a car on your dyno and HP's dyno and the number were very close just a few points off each other.

ps. All i am trying to say is that i got close your numbers with out C&C heads, bad *** Kooks headers, fast intake, 90mm TB, Under Drive Pully, and a smaller cam. I mean sure Brandon's numbers are good but I have heard of lots of heads cam cars doing that if i remember correctley.

Correction, No Fast Intake or 90mm TB on my car. I never once said in my post I was the only car making this power, nor the highest dyno numbers there are car that make more power. Just wanted to share info on my new setup and Dyno #'s. with that said I will close my own thread.
