Default BAD deal with vince3 aka vincent sacco in NW huston!

Aka vincent sacco, he sold me a set of FLP headers & i got them in the mail on friday. They were nothing like the ad said.He said they were 01-02 headers & they are 98-99's, you can tell by the egr tubes & were there at. Witch are weld shut, he did not mention that at all, not one time. Also said like new codition, they look about 3-4 years old. Not like new. Said the coating was perfect, NOT close, they are like gray'ish up high on the tubes, where the under coating is showing.
I've tried calling, paging & PMing hin. He will not respond to my calls, but on friday when we made the deal he answered right away. hhmm.
I beleave he knew what he was doing from day 1 when he wrote the ad.

If any of you know him, Tell him to stop being a punk & make this **** right.
He's in NW Huston.

I would love for some help from you BIG TEXANS!!!
GREATLY APRICEATED.

Just do a search, an advanced search and then search by member name. It will show you all their posts, starting from most recent.

Well, not necessarily all their posts, only up to the 250 most recent

No, that's where I'm located (sorta in the area... haha). But I will say this. I have met Vince Sacco and he was not the kind of A-hole you are describing. Don't get me wrong, I don't know the circumstances of your transaction in its entirety, but I did do some tuning for him about a month ago and he was a very friendly, cool guy. I don't know him personally at all and can't provide a location since we met at a neutral place to do the tuning.

As far as the headers go, I actually took a glance at them when he first bought them, it was the same weekend we did tuning, and they didn't look brand new, but definitely not totally whack. To his credit, whatever it may mean to you and no offense to Vince either, he's not terribly educated with the LS1. So he might actually have thought they were the 01-02 setup. The original seller seemed more questionable to me, but I do not know anything about the details of that transaction either. All I did was meet up with him to retrieve something I forgot in his car when we tuned and looked at the headers he was about to purchase. Either way, he seemed like the kind of guy that wouldn't con anyone. I don't have his contact info anymore but I do know he is pretty busy.

I'm not taking sides here, just providing a different perspective. And just out of curiosity, did you not request pics before you bought? Always a good idea anyway just to be sure that you're buying what you think you are. Whether the seller knows what he's doing or not, it's more important to know what you are doing! Sorry it didn't work out for you though...

Thanks for the info, very helpful. Yes he seemed like a very cool guy, & no i did'nt ask for pics, I should have though. I was trusting he was telling the truth. Last time i do that again. I think he bought them from someone else, did'nt like them, then dumped them off on someone on here. At a high price leading people to beleive they were in mint condition, If they were i would have no problem them,If they were what he said they were.
Next time I will ask for more info like, mothers maiden name, tax records, & ss#.LOL. Any ways he's a dick for not calling me back & tring to straighten it out, he has nat replied to my messages. All he has to do is call & try to make it right.

Some thoughts for you though, the headers themselves didn't look to be in any bad physical condition, so they will still work plenty fine. You can get some new coating in a spray can from an AutoZone or something, I hear it works pretty well and for the cost it beats sending them off. All you need to do is spray even coats and maybe 3 or 4 layers and let a day in b/w each coat to dry and cure. Just make sure if there's any rust on them to use a fine grit sandpaper or some steel wool and clean off the rust before you coat em!

I think since someone welded the tubes shut that the best thing to do with them, would be to cut the egr & air tubes off. Then plug weld the holes. It would be tricky though, you can't get any build up on the inside of the primary's. Could make a little diff in those cylinders. I'm a pretty good welder, do a lot of sheet metal work. But Still Payed MORE Than There WORTH!

But a very good sugestion anyways. He did not include the head bolts either. Were should I look to get some. IF I don't sell them.
