paypal scam
I know theres alot of paypal users in here so check this out. There is a new round of Paypal email spoof scams going about.. looks something like this..
As part of our security measures, we regularly screen activity in the PayPal system. We recently noticed the following issue on your account:
We recently received a report of unauthorized credit card use associated with this account. As a precaution, we have limited access to your PayPal account in order to protect against future unauthorized transactions.
Case ID Number: PP-7800-580-7902
For your protection, we have limited access to your account until additional security measures can be completed. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
To review your account and some or all of the information that PayPal used to make its decision to limit your account access, please visit the Resolution Center by following the link below:

A clear sign to know such a spoof is first seein where the included links point to without acutally clicking on them. In thunderbird simply place your mouse cursor over the hyperlink.. in this instance, doing so you would quickly see the actual link is NOT the one in bold. or the link will be something close like www.paypalll.net etc.. (note you wont see the bad link here in the forums) Theres also something like this going around for your ebay account. watch out!

it said something close to:
an amount of (so and so money, usually in the thousands) has been added to your paypal account, to accept this money please go to link below.
i new it was a scam the minute i recieved it since i hadnt done any transaction lately.
