**** that $25 goes a long way when you at the Gunn dealership getting parts at dealer cost +10% off. It has paid for itself may times over. I got all the gaskets for my new engine for dirt cheap.

LOL $25 dollars. Man if you guys modded your cars and got the discounts you would know its way worth it. Example I went with another F body member and he needed a opti spark for his LT1. Dealer price was $485. With the dealer cost +10% was $310 with taxes out the door. If thats not a good deal I dont know what is.

Let me see if I understand this. Is that dealer's cost with an additional 10% off of that? Is this only for our cars or is it for all GM parts. If this is the case, I just might have to find the time to join. By the way I will be out at the Super Chevy show. I won't be racing, but I will be with my buddy in his blown '55 blown pickup. See you guys out there.

You don't have to pay to hang out with all the F-Bodies, just if you want the membership card (which can get you discounts at Lethal Performance, Alamo Performance, etc.). The money goes to help pay for the website, t-shirts, business cards (which we use to promote the website), etc. The SAFB isn't set up like a rigid organization or anything (no set president or treasurer), we're more for just hanging out and enjoying the cars than anything else.

We usually hang out at Biffs every Friday and every now and then we have planned events (like the DFW get together a couple of weekends ago).

Check out the website.....its not like we're **** about the fees or anything.
