Powell, what is there to know about me? You might want to reconsider putting up people's names like Larry and Edgar. I've known those guys longer than you have, and have never had any problems with them.

Nick, you are correct, I do have sponsors. But, this site is a business that I helped start and co-own. If it is successful, then why wouldn't I get the benefits of being a business owner? I didn't have my Daddy give me my stuff, I had to work for it. Chris knows my Mom, she is just a little woman that works at a high school cafeteria, so I don't come from money in the least. My Dad has worked out in the sun doing pipe fabrication at chemical plants all his life. Not wealthy by any means there either.

Chris, I'm not sure why you keep bringing up my cars. I never once said anything about your car(s). All I said is that you BARK more than you race OTHER FAST CARS. Fact or fiction? Count the times you have posted in threads about "calling out others", and compare that with the number of times you have actually raced anyone with a fast car. Isn't it like 0 for 10 now?

Also, do you honestly think I couldn't afford to build a car that could put your dick in the dirt? Be realistic here, if that is what I wanted you could bet I'd have it.

Like I said Chris, this isn't about CARS. Go race some fast cars and I'll quit picking on you when you bark from the porch. Are you scared of losing or what? I swear, its like pulling teeth to get you guys to actually line up with a fair match. Everyone wants the advantage or they don't want to race.

I just want to make one or two things real clear.

I know both you guys, and Chris for the amount of **** people have given you over the years you really have stuck to your guns, and basically stand behind what you say, and seem to be cool dude.

I'm not sure what the implication is here, and why I'm brought up in this, but I think somewhere somebody got a wire crossed.

 

Then Tony what is it then.. I can bring up post about you.. You've always had something to say about me. You have NEVER once said hey good job or anything like that.. You sit here and try to rag on me for bullshit all the time because you seem to think I live some exstravagant life in which I do not. I have some ammenities that others do not, and I have alot less then some. I have stated this to you many times. I grew up in Pearland, my parents made alot less then most people in our neighborhood.. They worked their asses off to get where they were.. How they raised us should not be the way you judge us. I think Matt and I have turned out better then almost 99% of the children we grew up around. Neither one of us have been to jail, we're not drunks, we're not on drugs, etc.. But nobody sees that.. Everybody sees other ****.. They see Matt has a Vette, they know NOTHING about why he has it.. They treat him like **** because he has one.. I guarntee you he can out drive MOST Vette owners here, including yourself Tony. Hes a ******* genius behind the wheel.. I've had two fast cars.. I didn't back down to race Josh that night even though I didnt know until that night that he had nitrous on his car. I still put money up and lost.. I know you'd crawfish out of it.. I knew I had to take it.. I made the call out.. I talked with Pecos and had my motor built how I wanted it.. I put the motor in in MY garage.. I enlisted Mike, Nick, and Paul to build the rest of my car.. Took the 200-4R out, bought the Powerglide, installed the Kooks headers, etc.. Went a 9.5 @ 120mph (5.9 @ 119mph) on the FIRST pass EVER off the trailer.. So don't say you can run my dick in the dirt because you cant.. you won't and you never will... Stop trying to play the throwing money game around Tony.. I'm not here to play that game.. You brought it up first mentioning daddy.. Btw Leslie Powell owns the company, Not Mark Powell, but my dad worked his *** off to get us where we are. Get your ******* facts straight.. Go ahead and Ban me.. And by the way.. The people who stand behind me on this thanks.. thanks for the help from everyone.. The people that don't well I thought I had support I guess its nothing like I thought... And about racing... I was ready the weekend the guys were coming down here to race, but they wanted the BadBlue, not me... Lydia's car isnt even running last I heard.. so there is no reason to worry about them. I've been to HRP and HMP testing.. I've raced plenty of cars out there.. And I dont know when I'm going to be out again apparently my crew, the people that help me keep this thing running, keep deminishing.. I just dont know anymore..

Why don't all you people stop talking **** and race each other. I figure between all the competition shops in Houston, there has got to be some good fun racing. How about Powell and Dan? or Dan and Jason? Just because you guys don't want to get beat by someone else you don't race. I thought racing was about having fun and enjoying all the people around you, but it seems like this site is turning into Hotrodgossip.com, all talk no race, except on the keyboard. If you are familiar with Corey Green AKA(The Yellowbird) this is a prime example of a **** talker, he calls out all of Texas for $5 large, when someone accepts he fills everyone up with bullshit and doesn't show up. When you have a car that go's runs around the 4.30 mark you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Even though he has a fast car he is still afraid of getting beat, Well guess what, that is racing, either run it or keep your mouth shut, I guess that is why he told us he sold the "Yellowbird"

IMO the reason no one is actually running the races is that they want a guaranteed win and/or doesn't want to have to pony up with the $$ that they've overloaded their mouths with. Some of these guys are so scared of losing a race that they'll be too embarrassed or they're afraid of being ridiculed I guess.

Whats the big deal? Anyone who has a fast street car, track car, or races competitively has gotten beat and will get beat in the future. Thats just the way it is. Somone always has a faster car than you, plus anything can happend in a race. Anyone that says they're undefeated is a liar. I don't see why some of the races set up on here can't be more at a friendly level and always have to be taken to a personal level to where it turns into a pissing match over who has the bigger dick.

Just swallow your pride and say "lets get it on", and leave all of the BS and excuses at home!

The thing I don't understand is why everyone is bagging on Powell for spending "Mommy and Daddys" money. Thats pretty sad. Who cares yall both have cool **** just drop it. I did not pay for any of the cars I have had and I don't think it has made me a bad person in any way. On the other hand a have always had *** holes talking **** saying I did not pay for my cars. Who cares I still have them and so does Powell. Tony are you saying that if someome said to you here take this free car you would say no I want to pay for it myself. A hand out is a hand out who cares who gives it to you.

 

I've made call outs since I got my car.. All the races have not happened yet.. I don't care if I lose.. I know my car hauls *** as it is.. There is always going to be something faster.. I never once said there wasn't going to be.. I've taken my hits.. I've came back swinging harder then almost everyone and all they want to do is keep swinging although they are on the ground crying..

There is no big deal about it. I get pissed when Tony tries to talk down to me.. There is a big difference though between most of the fast guys and the normal street cars. Back in the day I could come out and race with you guys.. and go home (usually LOL).. Now I drive something different. The people in the 10s and 11s may never realize.. I thought I knew what fast or what it felt like until the first time I drove my car on the nitrous for the first time. I love this stuff... Its a rush and I'm not scared of the car.. Which to most is good, but to my parents is scary.. I've learned so much stuff so quick about driving that most people cant grasp. I also know what its like to sit there and wrench on a car all day to get it ready for something to go wrong. Then have to wait even to buy a $125 part so I can go back out, alternator.. I know when to risk the car and when not to.. Most people wont and will not understand that. I never did until all this happened..

All the **** that comes along with it.. Hell it didnt matter when I had my red Cobra people just would pretend to like me and everything.. But they talked ****.. I was young with a nice car.. Its always going to be like that... Well I'm here and I'm not leaving.. You can ban me if you want.. I'll be peaking through and you can't stop that and I'll be at the track.. I'm still swinging and will be until the day till I die so keep the **** coming..
