$500,000 car, plus some rice Went to I-10 & Hwy6 last night with the little one - she loves going out there to see the cars with the "eyes" (OLD cars with the headlight pods).
Someone had a Porsche Carerra GT out there - you know, the 600HP v10 thing that'll run over 200mph? Yeah, that one.
They guy wound it up a bit when he left and from where I was it sounded like a turbo whine (which it wasn't) but it was AWESOME!
Ok - so now to today - I'm on the way home from work (yeah, work on Sunday
) and at 6 and West I see this Camaro with what looked like an SS wing, but not quite - the wing was jacked up and back. I was a good half block away from it, and it could have been the sun in my eyes, but from where I was all I could think was

I sure hope ricer mods aren't taking the LS1 world by storm....

As far as pics go, I've gone four or five times and haven't taken a camera yet. There are only a couple cars I wish I would have had pics of - one was that Porsche, and the other was an older Chevy with a beautiful paint job - part of it was like a cross between Longhorns orange and SOM....sort of. I think the rest was silver - it's been a while since I saw that car - wish he would bring it out again. 02SOMZ28 (aka Bob) might remember what kind of car that was - I think he was there that night.
