Minor Modifications, 02 Camaro Hey guys, I don't usually post much, but I've been checking this fourm regularly now for quite awhile. But, to the point. I wanna do some minor modifications to the 02 v6 Camaro I drive. Mostly just wheels, stereo, just things to make it more pleasant to drive. I attached the pic of it in it's present state, and I attached one with it having been photoshoped to something of my liking. I pretty much just tinted the windows, lowered it a couple inches, and added some wheels. But, first things first. I've been wanting to put in a new stereo for awhile, but I haven't seen many places where I can get custom box's for the Subwoofer, and AMP. This would be the box thats located in the back left corner, just above the T-Top rack, I've seen some for sale, but not in Houston. Anyone know of any shops or sites from Houston that carry these? I want to replace the whole stereo, since it does NOT have the monsoon system, so I thought I would start here.
Also, if anyone has any advice or opinions, just lemme know, I wanna seek out all options before I purchase anything.
And what do you think of the Black wheels on the white car? I've seen a few that look amazing, and I just thought it would look good with the dark tint and factory black pinstripe.

I found a guy on LS1Tech selling an MTX Thunderform enclosure with a 10" sub, so I got lucky. Cruise ebay and the classified sections here and you're likely to find something.
I think your best bet is to go to http://www.subthump.com/ and see what they have. I don't like dealing with stereo shops in Houston because I've been burned too many times and am sick of being spoken to like I'm some sort of an idiot just because I don't want eight 12" subs for an Escalade. I got burned pretty badly by MobileOne, so I won't even buy speaker wire from those guys any more.
I'm very happy with my system. I re-did all the wiring myself when I installed the amp and it wasn't that hard.
Kenwood KDC-MPV619 head unit
Boston Acoustics RX67 speakers up front
Infiniti 6.5" in the back seat sail panels
MTX 10" sub in the trunk
MTX 4200x amp for the speakers
MTX 3002 amp for the sub

You wouldn't happen to have a pic of that setup would you..? I'm looking at a 10" Bazooka Tube right now.. Alot of my friends have had them and such, and they were great. I went to a shop right here on 1960 and Perry, guy told me he would build me a custom sub-box for $300 :-O then, about 5 minutes later, he would build it for $200.. So, I left that shop pretty quickly, plus.. I've seen the exact box online for $100-125. So yeah, that's why i'm looking at Bazooka.
