VIN does not indicate WS6, Firehawk or SS. Only the door decal will prove that. The VIN only identifies coupe vs convertible, V6 vs V8, and Firebird vs Camaro. It lists them as a Formula or a Z28. Even VINs won't identify a Trans Am, it lists them as a Formula.

Im not surprised something like this has happened. I was expecting a few people to start getting burned in the near future as people start to sell fake WS6 and SS models. I'm afraid that this is the first in what will be MANY cases to come, and this will probably drive up the value of the real SS's and WS6's.
