Default Xtreme Auto Tint

Has anyone been here to get their F-body tinted? It's on 1960, kinda by Perry. Do they usually do good work?

Just wondering, cuz I took my camaro over there saturday, and i'm not happy :-x

I've had xtreme do my Z28 (Including the tops), Truck, suburban, avalanche, roadmaster, another suburban, daufgters truck, and son's stang.

Yeah, they do a really crappy job, that's why I keep going back. JUST KIDDING..

I have always been satisfied. If yos have a problem, just ask to speak with Bubba. Once, I had a gripe, and he took care of it immediately.

Just curious, what are you not satisfied with? If it's cloudy or has a timy bubble, be patient, that stuff goes away in a couple of days.

Well, there was some bubbles but they took care of themselves like they said they would. I wasn't really impressed with the tint near the dot pattern on the hatch though, it seems it didnt stick to well to the glass, so its very discolored, not sure why that is. BUT, the main thing was there were 3-4 very long scratches in the tint, like someone just took something and cut a 2-3 in. peice, very noticeble from the outside. I went back today to get them to install my new stereo, and just asked them to look at the tint to see if they could do something about it. So, I not really sure what they have decided or what they are doing to it, i'm home waiting for a phone call. They just said they will take a look at it, and see if it needs to be redone or not. Guess we will find out soon enough. I just wasn't sure if they had really good quality work or not, because I don't know their reputation around houston, so I thought I'd ask, just didn't seem right ot have brand new tint with scratches all over it.. :-)

Well on the bubbles themselves the tint will not stick. You will see that is does not on 99.9% of our cars with tint.

Scratches in the tint is not good, they should fix that. But if your glass is the one with the scratches then they can not do anything about that.

BTW- Do you play Halo online?

Peace,
Craig.

Yeah I play, hence the e-mail halo_damnation@yahoo.com :-)

No, the scratch isn't in the glass, it's definately in the tint, you can tell and feel it. Like I said I just asked them about it this morning, so I'll see what they say/can do about it.

Is there anything I, myself could do about the dot pattern? Doesn't seem like I would have many options, I just don't like the fact its not perfect, lol..

Okay just picked it up.. Stereo sounds good, got a 10" infinity kapp perfect sub and some 6.5" infinity reference speakers upfront, very nice combo.

Tint, it looks like they did try to do something to the dot pattern, cuz most of the discoloration is gone (was grayish). As for the scratches, they tried to patch it up it looks like, and id say only 10% as noticeble as before, but, you can still see it if you just happen to be lookin at that spot..
