I use to have a 3 foot Ball Python, and he bit me once or twice...It really didn't hurt. It kind of feels like scrapping you knuckle on the carpet, or sandpaper. However this ****** looks to be about 20 feet long, so I can definately see the fangs being that long. You also have to remember it is pissed and getting the **** shocked out of it. I bet that made a big mess, because I gurantee you that snake did not get out of that fence. I wouldn't be surprised if they didn't shoot it and have to rip up half the fence to get it out of there.

I spend alot of time there, not to worry the locals kill and eat just about anything, I'm suprised a snake could even get that big before it becomes LUNCH!!!

The Rock python is Africa's largest snake. The rock python eats mammals and birds.
Lays up to 100 eggs about the size of a tennis ball in antbear (Aardvark) holes, hollow tree or similar suitable place. The female coils herself around the eggs to protect them.
The snake in this picture had eaten a full grown Impala ewe and, sadly, caught itself in an electric fence.
Over four metres in length, this was a large specimen.

OMG Diana! You better be careful over there.

Snakes are the ONE thing I just can't handle in any way, shape or form. I don't care if it's a teeny tiny baby snake. I ran over a snake once when I was mowing the lawn, and when I realized what I had done, I screamed and ran as fast as I could (ended up about a 1/2 mile from the house). Then I had nightmares for the next week.

LOL, I can see you running down the street screaming, you just made my day . I have spent over three months there and have never seen anything like that, just pigs, chickens, goats and dogs. I will make sure to look around the compound on my next trip.
