Alarm

Can you turn off the factory alarm. My car honks when it thunders but ican bump into it and it doesnt. Iknow on most GMs youcan play with the lock switch acertain way and it changes all that does anyone know the right combinaton to it?

Their is a sensor on the passenger side under the panel beside the spare tire. Take off the panel and turn down the sensitivity.

I didnt know the sensitivity could be adjusted. Ive reprogrammed mine to honk once when unlocked and twice when locked, also changed some other stuff, but cant remember.
