Default Question About Registration Ticket

My reg has been out since March, I finally got a ticket for it. I dont know where the damn tax office is in my county, but grocery stores are 'sub' offices. My question, I read since my registration has been out so long, and I was ticketed for it, I have to pay a 20% penalty or something. Can this be done at the grocery store locations? Or do I have to find the main tax office?

you have to get it at the the tax office they were being gay bout it being out a month. you have to pay something for getting a ticket for it. not sure what though. they always ask if you got a ticket for it being out though. good luck

They may acutally dismiss it once you go in to get your new one. That's what happened to me last year.

If you get a ticket for the registration, don't they give you like 10 days to get it fixed, and bring the reciept to show them you got it fixed?
Last time mine was out over a month, I just told them that the car had broke down and it took me a bit to fix.
