Houston Mechanic Classes?

Houston Mechanic Classes? I have a few friends in other cities who have taken nighttime classes at community colleges to boost their auto knowledge without having to inflict anything on their own cars.
Have any of you done something like that around here? It seems like a cool idea to me, but I don't know if HCC is a good place to do that at or if maybe there is somewhere better...

I go to san jac and im currently in the honda program the school have there own cars you can work on or you can work on your own car if you want to.They got pretty good instructors there and its cheaper to go there than most colleges.
