That's good and fine and all, but seriously, talking **** over a computer screen isn't going to prove and/or do anything, we're all fans of our own opinions, but other people are entitled to theirs too, I was hoping to talk about today's games, not talk ****. If you must just keep it in the PMs

Yes, U La La isn't a milestone accomplishment, but the Horns' execution was still very sharp. I was a little concerned with all the hype around them earlier on, but after watching the game, they've added alot more dynamic plays to complement all the young talent. And I actually saw some receivers running clean routes and catching *****! Texas can't afford to be one dimensional this year, Vince is great, but he can't just take it in himself everytime (or can he!!!)

Yeh it seemed like Thompson was very uncomfortable running the offense. I bet their trying to make him a "Jason White" So many college coaches try to mold and shape a player when sometimes it's best to shape the program around a player/s talents.

well i viewed the game as this will.... we kept the game very basic. Most were simple, fundamental plays w/ no tricks except for the reverse and an option. I along w/ some other guys were disscussing that Mack is (hopefully) holding out on better plays so that tOSU wouldnt get to see any in action.

After viewing the game (i too was worried about the hype) was def. impressed w/ our back field. W/ sedric, v. young, jamaal charles, taylor and that bad *** Milton.... our playbook should be very good. and we cant forget dave thomas, and our other talented recievers.

Our defensive seems sharp, but it will be tested agains tOSU, but i think w/ our speed, and strenght shall overcome. I think gibbles is going to dominate their(tOSU's) front line. Only worry w/ tOSU is their big and explosive defense. They are fast, but I think we have enough quickness and an experienced line to take care of them.

AND yes, I am from houston, born and raised, but I attend UT. GET IT. that number is not bogus either, it is mike jones' number. 281-684-4184 holla

Yeah, they recruited Thompson for his strength and quickness in his scrambling, and now they are stifling that in order to mold him into a passer. Why not just get a passer form the get go? I don't get it, but I can say this year will hurt our recruiting for future years. Unless TCU was just a fluke.

Agreed, but man sometimes I wonder about TCU, I mean they've traditionally been at the top of the weaker conferences, but I suppose that means they can maintain themselves against all the mid-majors and even some of the big guns. They've been a Top 25 team in the past few seasons so they're really not that bad a team at all. I just remember that one year that they were all touting about being a BCS bwol contender, which never happened, and then they got beat up in their awarded game.

Yes, this upcoming game will be VERY interesting. It's such a rare thing to match up the finesse of the northern conferences and the "run em gun em" power schemes of the south. If this turns into another Michigan vs Texas 2005, I might have a damn heart attack! Something else I was thinking about is, they'd better fix that whole place kicking problem!!!! I mean McGee has been the punter for the last 3 seasons, which gives him the background for the job, but if it comes down to making the field goal that wins the game..... Man, he'd better get his timing down and lift that sucker some!!!!

I agree. I realize the angle is totally different for an extra point than for a field goal, but if he needs to make a 45+ yarder to win the game, we're screwed!

yeah, it was funny.... 2 years ago McGee was still terrible w/ timing, even w/ punting... i remember his poor punts when he was rushed resulting in 20+ yard punts. Now w/ Mangum gone and Mcgee at the helm, after watching him miss 3 pats was rediculous.

A funny thing was is that i said we would score 63 points and hold them to a shut out... but i was wrong, at least if mcgee would of kicked the god damn ball, i would of gotten our score right.

but im pumped for tOSU game! This next weekend is going to be intense
