not to hijack the thread, but when i put the zr1's on slowta i used the center caps from the stock wheels, they snap right in

Not bad, but since you have a cage, you migh want to reconsider mounting the harness to the cage instead. God forbid something happens and the saftey equitment has to do its work, with the longer belt (or furthur mouting away from the seat) the more the belt will stretch in the event of an accident, meaning you could come in contact with some random part of the car. Not trying to bust your ***** jsut dont wana see anyone get hurt over something simple.

I considered it but i didn't have access to a welder to put the tabs on the cage, nor did i want to grind off the paint. It will get done in the future

I know a lot just wrap it around the crossbar, no welding required, and you should be able to do it with the stuff you already have.
