Default Stock battery life?

Well today my truck will not start, never had one problem before but today-nothing. It will not turn over, not even enough juice to lock the doors, so...

How long did your stock battery last?

Z-28 4 years
Yukon 2 Years
Silverado 3 years

First F body - still worked at 3 years when I got rid of it.
New F body - 3 years

So far so good on the origanal battery,5 years.
But my car is not a daily driver.

Im goin to regret this but still on factory bat (damn knock on wood)... 102k miles... been a dialy driver all its life. its a 98 btw

my 02 is a daily driver, had to replace the battery last month .. so 51k miles, 3.5 years .. and all of that was in Maryland ..

As long as it doesnt get run completly dead you should be fine as long as ur altenator is working correctly.

check the positive terminal. Most pre 02 (dont know about other years) had a faulty battery where the positive terminal would come loose. I was stranded with it once... switched to a optima and never looked back.

on the t/a 70k miles 4 years old.... it was leaking, and started expanding balloon like...
