Denton County Inspections...need help!
Denton County Inspections...need help! I'm removing my cats soon and although I have the O2 sims to eliminate the SES light, I'm concerned about getting an inspection and them doing a visual inspection under the car. I will have already paid them the $45 for the inspection and if they look and see no cats, I FAIL and they keep my $45!!?? Any places ya'll know of that for a fact will not do the visual inspection? They can plug into the OB2 all they want...I will pass in that case b/c of no SES lights. My true only concern is a visual. Any suggestions? Thanks
This is why I want to register my new car in New Orleans. Anything can pass inspection there. I always got mine at Speedy Oil Change and they didn't check half of what they're supposed to. They've let me get away with some ridiculous things, too.
As for them keeping your money, they would most likely tell you to go get it fixed and come back to get your sticker, but wouldn't have to pay again. You could try to get a cat shell and rig it up temporarily to look like you have one in order to pass visual.
