Exactly. No one picked the Astros in 5. We play better with our backs to the wall anyhow.

I don't care that you had two men on, you HAVE to pitch around Pujols. Every pitch should of been on the outside of the plate. You either outright walk him or pitch him outside. You DON'T give a dead pull clutch as hell power hitter a pitch on the inside half of the plate. That pitch traveled far enough to hit out of Yellowstone National Park.

I'm still pissed. I got that creepy sick feeling when I saw Pujols in the warmup box, and Lidge was on his way to walking the guy in front of him. You could almost feel that HARD ******* hit coming.

If the roof had been open, I think it would have landed in Dallas.

I'm still pissed, but I'm still thinking the Astros will get it done.

I think Lidge should have thrown Pujols nothing but junk low and outside and taken his chances with Sanders. Sanders can't catch up with a 97mph fast ball.
2 more games. All we have to do is win one of them.
Let's send Busch stadium crumbling with a Cardinals loss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think the Astros will still pull it off. Give them some credit, they are playing hard.

this is the stupidest most ignorant comment i've seen. he gave up two runs to a great lineup so lets trade him. not to mention his pitching is one of the main reason's we got to the playoffs

No doubt!
Aren't many fans in Houston who have any loyalty. Every pitch against this Cardinals team is stressful. They are the best offense in the league, but people who haven't been paying attention all season think it should be easy to roll over them. The same exact people on the 'Stros *** right now will be all over their jock when they go to the World Series. Don't hurt yourselves jumping on and off the bandwagon. I'm wearing my Astros gear proudly today, just like all year!!!!
Go Astros; get em in St. Louis!!!!

I still feel like this might have killed us. Had we lost badly, it would have been easier to sit back and say "Well, nobody expected us to win 4 in a row." However, with a heartbreaking loss like this, I'm wondering if they'll come back.

this one of the worst sports town in the country, a lot of fans are only there for the good times and then want to hang players for giving up 2 runs. 2 runs is going to win a lot of games and would have won this game if the pen could hold. he was like 14-2 with a 1 something era second half of the season trade him!!!!!!!!
