G&G Machine Shop in Tomball
Has anyone done any business with this machine shop? I would like to use them but I have no idea how they operate and what their reputation is. Any help is much appreciated.

I personally know of three engines, my own included, that have been done by Joe at G&G. Outstanding work, second to none. Prices are not too shabby either. Can't go wrong with them.

WOW!! I guess Joe does have quite a reputation! I went and talked with him on Tuesday and he seemed to know exactly what I needed to do to get things going on my 383 stroker motor. Thanks guys for all of your input!

Man I sure am glad to hear all the props everyone's givin' Joe...I'll be pickin' up my "refreshed" short block tomorrow...He's not the cheapest (which is fine if you get what you pay for) but like everyone said he's very professional, provides great quality work and his turn around time has got to be the best in the area...I'll let everyone know how it turns out.

I'm very glad to see that everyone has nothing but good things to say about Joe. I don't think his prices are too bad for getting the block cleaned up. Now when it comes time for balancing and notching the block and shaving the rods, that might be a whole other story. I hope it's not too much, my wife has me on a strict gear head budget!
