DFW: performance parts shops?
where is there a performance parts shop in DFW? (i'm in SW DFW, so the closer to that, the better).
I need a helmet and a dry erase dial-in marker (i hate those damn shoe polish ones they use at some tracks). i know i could just get it mail order, but i might go to the southwest shootout, and i'd need it before then.
i'm not looking for an expensive helmet... pep boys back in MA had snell2000 helmets for like $100, but the one on mccart only really had the dirtbike helmets with the visors and also some extremley ghetto ones.

You try the pep boys on Camp Bowie in fort worth. I walked though there lookin for polish and they had alot of helments. But Ill look around for you see if I see any shops that would have that stuff.

this is the dry erase dial in marker... these are badass and i recommend them to anyone that goes to the track... no more getting that white **** on your paint or needing razor blades when trying to get it off your windows.

i did a yellowpages search for automotive performance, but its hard to tell what is a 'real' speed shop, and what is just a rice shop or whatnot...
there is one called 'drag line pro' on galvez ave (NE of 35&30)... sounds promising so i'll give them a call.

hrmm, there is a shop in arlington that sells a TON of crap on ebay, mostly dirt track stuff, but that may be worth a shot
if you search on ebay, search for AN wrenchs - they are usually one of the few that have them on there
at work now so i cant get on ebay
