Default Help!! Need Traffic Ticket Dismissed

I got a speeding ticket last night driving through Falls County (somewhere around Marlin) and was wondering if someone knew a way to make tickets.....you know....."magically dissapear" ......for a fee of course.

I was driving from Waco to Houston and was clocked @ 82 in a 65.

I'm sure someone knowes someone that might know someone that knowes someone that does that kind of stuff.

Thanks,

LOL his name is ATTORNEY, that knows someone that might know judge and might know da, and will be more than happy to take your money

It will then magically dissapear, both your money and the ticket LOL

you've got a lot of options depending on how many of these you've had. If you haven't already this year, you can take defensive driving. That is the cheapest thing to do but is also the biggest PITA.
Or you can get deferred adjudication, like probation. Good idea to do if you don't ever go through the area anyways.
Or of course, get a lawyer. That's what I have to do these days because I've had so many tickets I can't do anything else. A lot of them are actually very inexpensive and you don't have to worry about doing any of the work.

Yea, see I've heard of people getting a lawyer to contest it and more than likely the officer never shows up and it gets dismissed. But I was wondering how true and effective that is.

I'll probably have to just end up doing defensive driving. Besides I heard you get a discount on your insurance anyway.

Nah, you don't really get a discount on your insurance. Not a bad idea though, just a waste of a day if you actually go take the course. It sucks.
And the lawyers don't usually want to actually take it to court. Officers do show sometimes, that's a hit or miss. A lawyer can make the ticket disappear usually. But it sometimes is a lot more costly in the end with a lawyer.
If you don't usually get these tickets, just do the defensive driving. or deferred. Deferred will make the ticket disappear also. It's just more expensive than defensive driving and you have to be careful in that particular county until the probation period is over. It's usually 90 days.

yea...marlin is a cop stop, i usually catch people doing 85 through there and piggy back them, b/c they are fed up with sitting behind an 18-wheeler for 1 hour.

Clarification: You can take Defensive Driving to get out of a ticket OR you can take Defensive Driving for the insurance discount. You can't do both. You can only take DD once every 12 months (for either reason), so if you haven't taken it, you can do that and be done with it.

Open the phone book and call a TIcket attorney, There are alot of those in dallas, for usually $45-85 they get you a court date 3-4 months after the date and after that you pay the fine and get deffered, If the officer is not present then it is gone no fine or anything else. Deffered usually if you dont get a ticket in that county it will be off the record.
