Clutch
I like it. also it takes alot to smoke it. I havent been able to as of yet. It gets better after 2k miles also.
Never thought a break in was true... just thought they stuck it on the box for even wear on the flywheel. Trending Topics

I have a Ram Powergrip HD and love it, but i also have a Mcleod adj. master. It has a stiff pedal, but I actually like it.
cyphur_traq has a Spec 3 and a stock master, and it feels pretty nice, just a tad stiffer than stock, nothing like my HD. (Not a bad thing)
bluestreak98's Z06 has the stock clutch, and I had forgotten how light the clutch pedal was on the LS6 clutch, its freakin light compared to the HD I have.
pwebbz28's t/a with the HD and alum flywheel is very light too, he's on a stock master however. I do not like his engagement point though.
Best advice I can say is to find some locals with different clutchs in the power level you are in, or are looking for and see how you like them.
Spec gets a bad rep with some of their clutchs going bad, but ALOT of it has to do with inproper break-in. Some are true genuine failures, but all companies have had failures. I spoke with a few guys from Spec on the PowerTour for a few hours about some of the issues presented on this board and others. They say (as all companies will) the key to lasting clutch life and holding power is proper break in. Follow the break in procedure "to the T" and you'll be good. Another thing on Spec is that you can call them and they will build a clutch "just for you" etc...
Another thing is to search, there are tons of ram vs. spec vs. textrallia vs. centerforce vs. etc etc etc... just look through the forums.
Give me a call for a sweet deal on a spec plus install.
