VY going pro thread
Hey fellas how did OU do this year an unexperienced QB starting for them?
Good luck next year UT......
No seriously though smart move by Vince his stock is never gonna be higher even if he did stay next year and win the heisman. The NC is 10 times more valuable than the heisman
Texas is still the best team in the Big12 even without Young. The Horns have loads of talent and speed to burn. Davis will simplify the offense and not ask whoever starts at QB to win the games by himself but let the offense as a whole to work together. I'm not expecting an undefeated season next year, but Texas will still be really good.
Hook'em!
"couldn't never"...typo - oops, lol. Thanks Jon.

Yea RM had a horrid year compared to VY. and if VY gets placed in NO he'll be starting and should go in the first round. RM has no chance of going in the first round unless he has a flawless combine, and i doubt he'll be starting anywhere
I think texas w/o young is still the best in the b12, but i don't think by much. oklahoma i think will be reloaded and ready to shoot it out again next year. Snead is a great recruit, i wish he went elsewhere, but its all good. I 2nd that, i doubt any teams will have a perfect season in the big 12 next year.

p.s. OU beat the number 5 team in the country
Bohmar spent more time picking grass out of teeth than he did upright this past year
Just something to look forward to TU fans

OSU will be #1 now...then Penn State and or WV....
I doubt Young will get drafted by the Texans...Bush will be their pick, followed by Matt L. going to NO, and then Young to the Titans...
But it would be nice to get Young here in Houston...then trade Carr to NO and pick up Bush too!!! That would be sweet!

UT had six kids who are committed to them that played in the all-star game:
Jevan Snead, Sergio Kindle, Deon Beasley, J'Marcus Webb, Eddie Jones, and Dustin Earnest.
but back to the big12.....I'm sorry 'Horn fans, but it just ain't looking good enough for me to say we're favorites in the Big12 next year w/o Vince. As much as it pains me....I'm picking OU.
Texas has several holes to fill (jscott, will allen, david thomas, rod wright, m huff, ced griffin, a harris, there's more I'm forgetting...). I know we've got some serious, somewhat experienced talent to step up at most positions (ie - like tony hills at tackle), but for goodness sake, we have a starting QB with ZERO game experience. It's going to be an up and down year.
