It seems the best 2 choices for V8 engines at the time are a LS2 and a LS3. I read on camaroz28 that there is possible of a 3.9l v6 pushing 300hp.
My guess..
LS2 = 400-425hp
LS3 = 450+ area I dunno.

What's the news on the GNX. Those cars are bad ***. I sometimes tell myself that I'm going to buy one. Just please tell me that it's not going to look like that. I wish car makes would stop making classic muscle cars look like family cars.
