Guys, you might ask Dan if they would consider teaching you how to weld. Its not that difficult, just takes practice. The veterans at the shop would be able to set up the welder for you anyways. I'm sure Wolfe would just be interested in getting some hard workers that are eager to learn.

Just because you can't weld you give up? Call Dan and talk to him. In my younger years I would have taken 6-7.00/hr for the opportunity if that was what it took. The reason I never did is the fact that I didn't even get into cars that hard until I was making a load in IT and now I have a mortgage/wife/kid that I provide for.

Jump on this and stop being lazy

Also, it says welding experience would be a benefit, not a neccesity.

Everybody at the top of their game is tough to work with. The first few days I was in Georgia doing the Pro-Modified testing I thought the two owners were the biggest dick heads on the planet. But once they see what you're made of the ease up a bit.

To be on top requires perfection. They're not looking to hire somebody who already knows everything, they're looking to hire somebody who's willing to work their *** off and willing to learn how to do things the right way. If you really want to learn how to do that kind of stuff I can't think of any better place to start.

If you really want something you gotta get in their and earn it. If you don't know how to well then call them and tell them you don't know, but you want to learn and you're willing to do whatever it takes to learn from them.

All I am saying is what came from inside sources, I really don't care if he is a dick or a cream puff. I have my job not going there in any fashion. But the reasoning behind his last guys leaving is all that I was wanting to know. He is the man and his products are grade A material. I just wanted feedback from those other than the biast racers in TTT5

They are moving to a much larger shop and want to start building cars again. With all the CNC machines and jigs they have it won't all fit in their current location.

A few of the TT5 racers aren't exactly his biggest fans. He took a drag radial car, did some minor changes on it and ran 4.80s in a class full of 5.00 cars. When you win almost every single race of course some fellow racers will dislike you.

We still are looking to fill one more position. Hoping to have it filled by the end of the week.

We do require you to stop by and fill out an application to be considered for the job.
