oil pressure problem.

oil pressure problem. after my dirve to houston my oil pressure dropped to below the 40 mark..and its usually above it quite a bit...just wondering what it could be..i havent checked it out yet, just lookin for some input

Well after the drive your oil is really hot and the viscosity is way down. Let the motor cool off (overnight) check the oil first thing. And see if you have still lost oil pressure. Then go from there.

i let it sit and the oil is where its supposed to be but im still runnin low pressure, but its around 60 at WOT..do i need to take care of this now or can it wait for a little while??
How low we talking here? Have you messed with the Pan or anything anytime lately? Also, have you been turning high rpms frequently as well? Paint a more complete picture here sonny!
