Looked pretty scary for all the precautions they were taking. Looks like they let a boy scout pull the trigger. That would be instant wood!

that's freaking awesome....it kinda brings back memories of 9-11 though. However it's very impressive the way that they make it fall without messing up any of the surroundings.

Yeah it is, and some of those buildings around it are within skipping distance. It was quite the feat.

Ever wonder why we all cheer when a building is imploded but never do anything when they are built ? That was pretty awesome though.

All I can say is it was crazy. I was standing on the street below were those people were looking out of the parking garage. The video is great but to get the whole feel of it you just had to be there.

this is the building adjacent to the Bank 1 tower which was ravaged in 2000. It is now a nice condo.

It was almost like one continuous shake. I have been around explosions before but this was a totally different sensation. Not only did you feel the concusion in your chest but your whole body shook.

they turned bank one into a condo? I know they turned my dads old shop by The Parthanon (right under that billboard right by the trinity river bridge) into some apartments across the street from Radio Shack (where the projects used to be)

I work for that Radioshack. And yeah, they are right there next to the parking lot of the old Tandy Center. I remember when it was a shop too.
