I made one with my stocker... I found this base piece that worked so used that, then got the lamp part at ikea. Its actually one of those lamps that is susposed to hang from the celling but I made it into the style that shines up in the air...the plastic shines light through though so its a nice light. I wanted to get something a little different.

But, the reason why my cam lamp is the coolest is because I wired up a 3-way "touch" unit. So all you have to do to turn it on is touch the cam or base, and its a 3 level light (touch to increase light/turn off).

Im still going to paint the base black since the gold isnt too matching but never got around to it

I would have used a pulley but I still have the stock one on the car!!

Yeah I saw where someone had taken a LS block and used the connecting rods and pistons bolted to the headbolts, to use as feet for the glass.
there was nothing for feet on the bottom, just sat on the floor. Looked cool as hell.
I'd do that, but I already have a coffee table.

I thought those went out of style in '02?

Plus everyone knows the rust is much more fashionable than boring black.

Here is one of my lamps. Had it for about 2 years, made it with my first stocker to take out.

The wheel lamp was better. It was more of an abstract art form.
