Service code engine on: Code reads P0135 something about Heat sensor 1of 2. Can anyone explain this and is this something that needs immediate replacement or fixing????? Thanks

 

If I remember right it has something to do with the o2 sensor. I believe the heat sensor get the o2 up to temp. Might try a search for it.

 

im pretty sure that has something to do with your o2's, not positive though

 

Just plugged it into the official DTC checker here at work (GM).

Results are:

P0135 Powertrain HO2S Heater Performance Sensor 1 Engine Controls
P0135 Powertrain HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1 Engine Controls
P0135 Powertrain HO2S Heater Control Circuit Sensor 1

 

What do i need to do to fix it?? Is it serious ???
