got hit today... :(
sorry just had to vent a little.
Besides the point, how bad are the scrapes? Like Bill said you could try insurance. However, depending on the severity of the scrapes maybe you could use a Porter Cable polisher to get them out. I have wetsanded scratches on my car before and then used Menzerna Intensive Polish to get out the microscratches from the wetsanding. Post a pic of the damage, maybe its fixable.

Hope you get her fixed up soon, long live the LT1s
Anyway, like I said depending on how bad the scratches are I or someone else may be able to use a Porter Cable to get them out a hell of a lot better than by hand. If you can't take some pics, maybe i'll see your car around Zachry lot and walk over and took a look at it. Where at on your car is it scratched/dented? Also, can you stick your fingernail in the scratches?

Saw your car at Zachry this morning, that's a pretty nasty size dent you got. Thing's big enough where you might be able to try a plunger to pull it out. I didn't noticed the scratches too much but the ones I did notice were on the dent. First thing to do is try to get that dent out. There is a place in Houston called Mobile Works (http://www.e-mobileworks.com/) that does paintless dent removal on high price vehicles mostly. From what I hear they are quite good at what they do. You may want to give them a try, I believe its only $100 for each panel or something like that.

im also an ******* who will put in the time to **** people over who do stuff liek that, thats just what i would do.
I know the feeling man, I hate people that can't own up to the stuff they cause. I hope you get it fixed for cheap! I had the exact problem last week. I park in front of Northgate on the street and someone hit my back bumper pulling out, good 1'x1' section on the corner that is scratched to hell and missing the clear now. I'm just waiting for the spider cracks now.
No note or anything. Typical.
