Default Fast 90/90

is the fast 90/90 worth putting in my car would i gain anything or would it be better staying with the ls6 manifold and the ported throttle body? my current mods are g1 cam,3600 stall, long tubes, borla catback ,pully, air lid and pretty soon nitrous just need to get it installed.

ive asked this question before and have been told this. basically it wont do much for ya unless you have bigger cubes. if you want to spend the extra money for little gain then ok but its your choice.

it will gain some top-end power usually at the cost of losing some low end. big cam, power adders, cubes, all good uses for the FAST setup.

if you're worried about low end power/torque stick with a LS6/ported tb setup.

That intake and TB were made for larger CI and extreme 346's. Your particular engine does not require all that air. Infact if you put the combo on your car then the air will infact stall out and loose valocity. I am sure the 78mm would do you better than the 90 at your particular stage.

I wonder what SUX2BU car would run with a LS6 intake and ported TB All that power he lost with the 90/90 on his stock internal, stock head car he was only running 6.90's

Since you already have an LS6 intake and a ported T/B the very minimal gains you would see by going with the FAST 90/90 would be offset by the cost difference with your current set up, not enough bang for your buck.

AFR's, 24X/24X 6XX"/6XX" cam, 90/90 combo. Big intake needs big heads and big cam to breaf. Might as well do true duals too since you don't care how loud it is and sell the Borlax.

Do it son. You'll get your 10's in a daily driven all motor car.

BTW, is your car a 99 or 00? That color interior looks like a 99 foo.

I would definately stay with the LS6/ported TB since you already have them. I was thinking of gains over stock TB and LS1 intake...

If it were me I'd stick with the LS6 on a stock cubed motor. You may gain 10 up top but lose some torque down below. A FAST is geared more towards big cube motors and high revving (solid roller) stock cubed motors.

I agree with this guy. I think you'll have alot more fun spending $1300 at show palace than you ever will with that 10 extra hp!!!!
