Thanks to everyone for being so cool with my questions and giving good recommendations. I've pretty much made up my mind and plan to go with the 421 and possibly NOS if I find I need any more power than the motor produces. A friend told me about a local Houston Cobra owner who is putting down close to 595 rwhp. His car is actually spinning the wheels inside of the tires. That's no good, and I don't plan to do bead lockers on my street car or nothing. Now when I do a race car - that's a different story.

A friend of mine 2toneblown on the truck forums here had a 408 with an F1-R on it. He had alot of problems keeping a belt on it above like 6 lbs of boost. They checked eveything time and time again, changed pullies, wider pullies with more grooves, different length belts and the samething kept happening, just a pain in the ***. Plus blowers are parasitic, they take HP to make HP, I just don't like them much. I agree with Cypher, I'd build a strong N/A engine add N20 if you want and be happy with it on the street. Oh and you will need a 12 bolt. 8.8 or 9" to handle the power. I blew up 2 10 bolts before I got tired of throwing money at it and got smart and bought a 12 bolt. I have a 408 in my T/A, makes good power on motor and great power on the bottle but if I were building a street motor I think I'd do a square motor(402) this time around.
