Keep your car man you WILL regret that later on bigtime. You say you want the 5.0, for that you could go buy a bike then you will have the best of both worlds.

I wouldnt do it, keep what you have. I have the TA and a daily driver, it would not suck having some thing to rag on at the track or on the street. I figure if I ever sold it I would want some thing again. **** even having a nice daily driver I want some thing fast to drive on a daily basis. You get a 5.0, your going to miss every thing about the TA. Lot of fast 5.0 Mustangs and I like those cars, but their old and dated, wouldnt really wnat one as my street car if I already had a LS1.

Darren,
I'll have to disagree I sold my truck before I left and bought a bike when I get back. At first I was pretty bummed but quickly realized how much fun bikes are and the fact that I am relatively fast stock without having to risk blowing **** up all the time. I get great gas mileage and insurance is only 45 a month. I have done some modifications to the bike but it's all looks and minor performance for now. I ride my bike everywhere in all types of weather from freezing to rain to everyday heat and wear my jacket gloves and helmet. I say go for it

Marc

You will have serious withdrawals! Buy a cheap car to DD as everyone else said. Quit hanging out with those losers that bother you and you will see how much you really luv your car. Hey, if you want money bad enough to mod up your car you will find it somewhere. Believe me, we work a regular job AND do mechanics on this side for a lot of people 60+ hours a week in the dead heat but we FOUND the money. It's there if you want it.

Well the caller ID is great but they dont call me, I work with them, the problem I am having is I'd like to have the best of both but the Bike I want is $9-12K used and is a 2002 and below, not many places would at 1st finance a bike that old or 2nd I couldnt get a loan that big yet. Wish the piggies would just find mine stolen bike, hell I got the title to it too When I had my last bike it kept the Car bug at bay, I saved alot of money too I think what i may do is clear some bills out of the way and Finance maybe a newer Ducati or a newer used Aprilia? I need to get a place with a garage 1st anyways, thats what caused the last bike to get stolen

If you don't have a garage, don't even think of buying a bike. I guess you don't learn lessons very well, huh? LOL!

Your T/A is paid for? Damn, an even better reason just to keep it. Tell those hosers you work with to STFU and that you don't want to race their cousin's brother's dad's uncle's friend's car.

my dad has a bike, and he has this gargantuan cable lock that goes through the wheel. the thing is literally at least 2 inches thick and i dont even think you could get bolt cutters around it.

Bikes have to be garaged they get heisted all the time.

Getting a (86-95) "5.0" is going back the world of 14's, not sure why you would want to do that. You'll be slappin' a Vortech S-Trim and some shorty headers on that turd in two months.... And still run like 12.8's.
