what does this mean-lights in the dash!

ok, I noticed that when I'm drivin my 98' t/a with the a/c on sometimes the e-brake light and abs inop. lights come on together, they stay on for about 10 to 20 min. anyone know what that means? I thought that it was the alternator or battery going bad, but they are fine plus all the lights light up when it's the bat. or alternator, has anyone encountered this? thanks all!!!

wish i knew the answer to that. my 98 SS does teh same thing ever since i rebuilt the tranny and installed a new clutch.

I've seen quite a few cars do that, actually... I always figured it was just sensors malfunctioning...

Have you checked to make sure that your brake fluid is topped off in the resevoir ? Or that you don't have a loose/broken vacuum line ? I had a similar problem in my Vette and it ended up being low on brake fluid.

Wrong If you have a 4-channel rear end (TCS or ASR) then one of your sensors is bent and touching the ring on the axle.

I saw that happen to my cuz after he tried to powerbrake grand am. He left the tracktion control on so it still dragged his ***. That was funny as hell. Look inside an there were all sorts of lights on. ABS, tcs, brake , check guage, I was laughing my *** off. But all he did was turn it off and back on and they reset.
