that is rust.....and the people at the body shop have no idea what happened...it's still waiting on an estimate to fix.

Thats the second Z06 wheel I have seen like that. Another one was at Texas World Speedway and sheered the rim off. I dont think there was any impact either. They must of got a dealership discount

Damn!

I vaguely remember hearing of a multiple number of Z06 wheels (don't remember exactly what year) snapping like that. I'm sure they weren't just driving down the road like they all say

but it wasn't from hitting a curb like this car.
