I have a 1 week vacation coming up at work that i have to take. I have a friend down in austin and she'lls telling me i should head down there and said Austin is a cool place to visit.

I was wondering who all is from austin and can give me a little up and up on the happenings there. hows the bar scene? any cool tattoo/peircing places? site seeing? im from the great white north and im currently living in baltimore maryland. i've never really been further south than memphis (where my sis and bro in law live). I've never been too or even through texas and im very interested in coming on down and dropping my well earned dough at some local bars and ****.

and if im going to texas there better be a damn good steak joint i can go to :-D.

any info would be much appreciated. im looking to go down sometime in mid august.
