Another little life lesson My wife was VERY sick the last few weeks. It started with an all-over outbreak of hives that just wouldn't go away. We went to the ER, then to an allergist (who took 14 vials of blood), then to her general practitioner in the course of a week. Turned out she contracted gastrointeritis, which was causing the steroid treatments (for the hives) not to work. She finally got the right combination of medicines and is doing much better now.
And now for the life lesson:
Gastrointeritis is contagious!

Imagine having what feels like bloated gas pain that won't go away. Add to that stomach cramps. Sprinkle in a little nausea. Then serve with a wicked case of "the Hershey Squirts".
I can't say I recommend it.

That sucks, hope you get better soon. Only thing worse is when your two month old and 4yr old are both sick at the same time and it's coming out both ends;that happened to me about two weeks ago!!!
