need a good trans for a ls1 00 ss,that will hold upto 800 or more ft/lbs of torque or will it just be better to go auto?getting mine rebuilt by joe at rebuilds.

depends on what your looking forward to doing with the car, plenty of ppl out there that are still running 6spd with numbers like that
