They do good work, but Mark, the owner, has an attitude problem. Personally, I quit using them because it seemed like anytime you would take something in there for them to do it was like you were bothering them and they were doing you a favor by doing the work. Last time I checked we're the customer and pay their bills by taking our business to them. I don't care to do business with people like that.

I'd recommend Lone Star Muffler.

Oddly enough, I had roughly the same experience with Lone Star Muffler. The guy was really polite about it, but it was pretty obvious he didn't want to do a whole lot with my car. I took mine in to see if they could fab me a custom catted y-pipe that doesn't hang so low. He worked with the catback a little bit and got me some clearance, but didn't seem very keen on doing much more than that.

Check our sponsors. I've heard Mike at Icon does excellent work with y-pipes and such, though I don't have any personal experience there.

Whoa no ****, your borla is not on right by any means. If those guys did it, I'd take my chances with a one-armed monkey.

Ditto. I got the exact same treatment and went to Lone Star the next time. The guy that owns Lone Star used to work with Mark and even said he's a jerk. Lone Star did some extra fab work without a problem and even cleaned up the old muffler that was taken off so I could sell it

+1 for Lone Star

I called Deer Park muffler about having true duals done. They said it couldn't be done. Right.

I wouldn't take my car there.

They quoted me 450 for true duals dumped in front of the axle. I guess they can't get their act straight.

They put mine on for $75, of course I drove over there with the ST's slipped on just after the headers.

Was going to get it at lonestar muffler but one flipdick ************, just dropped my X-pipe and tubing from about 7ft in the air on the floor after they had my car on the lift to give me a $80 estimate.

Deer Park has done the exhaust on both my cutlasses, and i"ve been very happy with them. My '69 has 2.5" off the stock manifolds, and one side woudl always get an exhaust leak... they always fixed it for free, and told me if it did it one more time the would rebend it and replace that side for me. I've acutally had people compliment me on how my exhaust looks... haha, odd.
