Good shop in DFW for gear setup
It's got an 8.8 ford rear with 3.73's and the whine is more than I can take.
I'd like a good shop to see what can be done. If it needs a new gearset, so be it.
I hate to pay for work, but diff's are not my thing.

Its def the later. I spent every dime i had there when i had a car. I was up there last night for the Xtreme meets and i just mentioned i was about to make a purchase on a Z28.
Chris: why such the long face?
Me: Because i will be broke again

btw, if your fbody does have an 8.8" ford rearend it's most likely that Daniel at SQR set that rearend up when it was first built as he was setting them up for Craig at the old Extreme Chasis way back when.
I'm going to call the guy I got the car from and ask him who did the rear Originally. He did mention he had the gears set up twice with no luck killing the whine.
I'll look up Texas Drivetrain Performance for sure, too.
I'm definitely going to check out Xtreme to see what else I can spend money on too!
"marcus what you need now?" Thats when you know youve spent too much lol
I installed the diff in the car and immediately hit the track with it this weekend. I ran over 30 gallons of gas through it. If I wasn't trying to make a hole in the firewall with the gas pedal, I was downshifting like I was rowing a boat.
From the workbench to the track.
Not a single problem. No leaks, no noise, no problems.

I might start going up there for things. I don't get parts at cost at Craptek anymore.
