find a low mileage SRT-4, for around 16, do high 13s, low 14s, get over 30 on the highway. few mods will get you to the 12s. 30+ highway!!!

If you're looking for a reliable, non-moddable, good long-term investment, get a Honda Accord. I have one as my daily driver. We picked up an Accord SE (4-cylinder, cloth seats, 6-disc in-dash CD changer, cruise, power everything, 4-wheel disc brakes) for under $22K. It's comfortable, it's quiet, it gets great gas mileage (>28mpg city so far), and I've been very happy with the purchase.

But in all seriousness, I could almost get a TL down to the 30K price your looking for, as well as get you into a Navigation Model TSX. The TSX's are one of the best "Bang for the Buck" vehicles out right now.

Why go STI?? I strongly dislike the STI's...I hate the spoilers....the only real differences are suspension, wheels, stickers, spoiler, and a couple others....being faster than a wrx well by a little bit...but you can indeed make a regular wrx faster than an STI due to more parts available for modding a wrx than sti....the 06's have the same motor in the wrx and sti just the sti has a shitty tune that makes it "quicker" so save a few extra grand get a wrx if you want to mod it have fun they're fun little cars...I think they make them in auto? I had a 5 speed so I dunno...or if you want a non-turbo car with the look of the wrx that runs cheaper on gas with better MPG do the RS model

The SRT8 has 350 -365 rwhp Stock to 280is rwhp on the R/T stock...

Yes, my SRT8 gets better MPG in the city than my R/T and I am damn near always in the gas when driving the SRT... lol

Go figure..... The only thing I can figure is that the weight is still close to the same, but less power in the R/T... Therfore the R/T requires a little more gas to get going because of the weight, while the SRT uses less gas....

Hope that made sence.. lol
