Default Got Me A Cobra Tonight !!!!!!!

So my boy got a Cobra, and has been hounding me to run ever since. Well tonight he Texts me and asks me why I have "been ducking him". I tell him to come over and we will see whats up. So I really think Its going to be a close race and it was. I ran him on motor the first time and it was too close for Comfort, but I won By like a car. So I turn on the Kit (Just a 50 Shot)And we run a few more times and I get him by like 2 to 3 cars every time. I must admit I had my T-tops off and that dam Supercharger Screaming at me had me checking my mirror more than I should have been!!!

Just think how much that car cost with that slow a$$ motor and a power adder has to be added just to keep up. LoL Not bad for a vehicle they discontinued four ago.

Are you kidding me? Dude heads and cam cars are a close race for cobras with LIGHT bolt-ons. Not to mention the "slow *** motor" you speak off can hold 1000rwhp stock. Get a clue man.

are you kidding me? heads and cam ls1 if running right will smash on a bolt on cobra.... here is a video of a sparyed mach 1 (dan03mach),pullied, bolt-on cobra, guy is on this site vcious04, and a full bolt on 2002 z-28 (lsx intake/shaner 3tb, hooker headers, lanes true duels, stock heads, cam, and compersion,) i know the guy driving the camero nickcz28, car did 350's rwph and 360'srwtq... first race is with the cobra.. http://video.ls1tech.com/search/nick...6a1bb5d8f1.htm

If its so fast why does it need a supercharger from the factory. Those cars are quick but not with that price tag.

It's an excellent motor for a FI setup so they took advantage of it since it's hard to get much out of a 4.6 n/a. That motor design has seen 6s in the 1/4.

I drive an LS1 and im sorry but you are wrong. Full bolt on 03/04's can do 470-480HP/500+TQ. And when they spend that 400 bucks to port the blower that quickly becomes 500+rwhp. And they only weight about 100 pounds then your average F-Bod.

My lil' cam only car pulled about 2 cars on a big bad 500+rwhp cobra from a dig and i spun all through 1st. And i only make about 350rwhp

since when did LS1s tip the scale at 3700#s or more? Cobras are much heavier than LS1s

Didn't your little Cam only car only run a 12.2 at Ennis also?? I think that is right.. If a 500rwhp Cobra couldn't run that then the driver sucks ***, Hell My 320rwhp Stock Motor Mach1 has ran 12.0's at Ennis..

Damn thats old, hell my nitrous system wasn't even working right that night at all, Most of those runs were on motor for me..

How bad do they suck N/A.. I have seen H/C/I Mach1's put down 460rwhp & 376rwtq on a 304CI DOHC Mod. Motor.. I would say that isn't too bad for only 304ci's.. You probably think they suck because you don't ever see any of them with head work, cams, and a fr500 intake on them.. It just cost so damn much and most people would rather spend that money on a supercharger or something. The intake cost a little over $3K, head work is a $1K, then $1.5K for the cams/springs.. Not including the installation for everything.. Thats alot of damn money, but you can make alot of hp, it will just cost you..
