Need help ASAP

Need help ASAP Ok i was driving home today and looked down and the truck running hotter than normal. I get home and i pop the hood and there is this red crap every where. I looked like some one had just got red spray paint and had a fun time on the bottom side of the truck. So i cool the truck off with the hose and then pull the cap off the radiator and this red crap is caked all inside of the radiator. Looked like someone just dumped a S load of that stop leak into it. The funny thing is i was the last one in it and i put Green coolant in it and no stop leak.
Any idea on what this stuff is.

First of all throwing water on an overheated engine not such a good idea 
Im guessing your truck is a GM which I think even the trucks come with Dex-cool(orange color) so that could be the red stuff all over engine. Ive heard mixing the dex-cool and green coolant can cause problems but i think thats only with aluminum blocks.

Only use DEX cool, drain the coolant and refill it with dex cool. Also pull your thermostat and check to make sure its not gelled up or anything. I would run some water through the system to flush it before you put in dex cool.
