Like I said, the issue has been addressed, and we are working on it. We have over 5 years of data on this site, nothing technical has ever been erased. Most of the other sites delete or lock down anything more than a year or two old. Every time someone runs a search across the entire site for the last 5 years of info, times 1000+ people, that tends to slow things down.

haha yeah what he said

I am very thankful that the history is saved on the site. Search is my friend and I use it all the time. It's very cool to find stuff that people were talking about just a short time ago. I just saw a thread about the old MTI B1 cam and started thinking, "Hey - I need that cam!!"

Anyway, I appreciate all that you guys do. Like others have said, this site is a daily occurrance for me! Rock on!!

Sorry to revive this thread, but this board is experiencing some serious performance and degradation problems. The "new posts" links doesn't even work half the times, and there are often long delays loading pages.

Just wanted to let the admins know that the board has been performing and responding good over the last week and a half or so. No more noticeable delays, and the new posts link works every time now. Good work, whatever you guys did!
