A&M can barely get through a game against ARMY without it's fans thinking they have won a NC. Like always, A&M will play us like they are playing a NC game, and we will beat them once again while not giving a ****.

I'm pretty sure yardage on offense doesn't win football games, points do. When OU give us the ball in their red zone it's hard for us to put up yards . OU and Texas will roll through A&M this year without breaking a sweat...

I got a question for you UT fans. I know the game is over, nothing can be done, but what do you guys think about the officials of the game. There was one play in particular where they mis-called a play and AP was forced for a fumble. He was clearly down, I'm sure there is now argument there. Then on the next series, AP scored a TD and the officials stopped to review the tape to thinking he had lost the ball before he crossed into the endzone. And last but not least, the last questionable call where it was either a lateral or a forward, by inches if that, pass which was dropped and recovered by UT. We Sooners know that bad calls are made, towards all teams, how do you guys think the game was officiated? I know, the game is over, you guys won, it happens, but just wondering.

We have a defense this year, last year we had nothing. There is no point in talking to you about it, just watch the season play out. A&M will be 8-1 when OU rolls into Kyle.

I know, none of us knew why they wanted to review the TD (fumble), it was clear as day that he broke the plane while holding the ball...

the lateral. close as well. We couldnt see bc what the people at the cotton bowl a jumbo tron is pretty much a 6x6ft tv. And we sit across the stadium so that was hard to judge by what they showed on the screen. but by that point our D was on fire. We would of stopped ya, but those 7pts were key.

They used that review at least 4 or 5 times, which is the most i have ever seen. I dont know if they did that to be extra careful so another oregon accident occours or just to waste time, but it was pretty annoying.

OU came to play but just fell off in the second half... def had me worried and not wanting to walk through the cotton bowl w/ a lose. A feeling i have had to experience 2 too many times. I congradulated the nice sooners that gave us props for the wins, but the blind *** holes that are just retarded are the ones i will just blindly argue w/ back.

It was a good game, next year will be interesting to seee

This was true, and it made for some good **** talking as they walked out of the stadium beneath us.

Okay good. I was starting to think I was just being pissy because we lost, again. But since UT fans think they were going a bit overboard on revueing the calls, I don't feel so bad. Like I said before, good game, and hopefully with some more experience under our belt, next years game will be more than a one half battle.

It did seem like they were reviewing too many obvious plays like the AP touchdown... I guess they didn't want another Oregon game to happen. It got annoying, but some of the plays they reviewed were close and would have been hard for anyone to make on the field. :dunno:

I disagree. Ohio State was only a few plays better than UT in the last meeting....As Colt and the offense improve those few plays could go the way of UT.....

Other than Ohio St, the rest of the top 5 has been far from dominant...thus they are all beatable.

other then UT who has OSU played? bowling green? cincy?northn ill?.....texas has not faced a balanced team yet....save 1...and they lost....OU had no passing game and there deff. wreaked....a all american running back is not going to save a team like that.....UT will improve but there is no one on the schedule who is a balanced tough team

im not bashing anyones team, because thats pointless...i am however making points and stating facts

Penn St, Iowa and Texas.....if you are going to state "facts" then dont leave out the "facts", that discredit your opinion. Ohio St certainly deserves the number one ranking.

Apparently, we are not supposed to refer to the past in this thread

If you noticed, in this thread (and the aggie thread) there have been several references to NOT bring up the past since that has no relevance to this year. I think it was 408 that brought up that OU has twice as many heisman winners and almost twice as many national titles as Texas, but according to some posters, the past does not count.

I therefore conclude that the 57-39-5 record has no relevance to the discussion of who has a better program between OU and UT since this record refers to the past

(I guess it only counts if the statistics favor the Longhorns )

I doubt that he cares at this point since this time next year he'll likely be a multi millionaire...
